My first BMCC 2.5K Raw test – With the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8

A cold and windy morning on the east coast of Sweden I headed out to shoot Raw for the very first time. It was with my brand new Blackmagic Cinema Camera.

I had the camera, tripod, slider and a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8. A great lens in many ways but unfortunately I forgot to turn of the VC (vibration compensation). A big “no no” when using a light tripod in strong wind. In other words, prepare for some shakes.

But the test was still successful for me. Because since that day Blackmagic have stayed on the top of my list as he best image for the dollar out there. And there doesn’t seem to be an end to that era.
