Review – Olympus Stylus 1 – Pocketable 28-300mm f2.8

This is a very powerful and premium Point & Shoot that very few have ever had their hands on. It was simply a victim of its time. Released in the middle of the DSLR boom. And since mirrorless was just starting to gain momentum.. it didn’t even stand a chance. Today the Olympus Stylus 1 offers a lot of fun at a reasonable price.

Olympus Stylus 1 Review Samples

The Dynamic Range is surprisingly good.
The range can be very handy on the streets.

Nice review, I like Olympus cameras but I dont know how effective is their 12mpx 1/1.7″ sensor, but I would say as an outdoors camera should do the work.

It works quite well indoors as well. Similar to the MX1 which did great in lowlight during a funeral I attended (samples in that review).
