This is a quick review of the long awaited 7artisans 35mm f2 lens. Its a Leica-M mount that won’t break your bank and delivers very pleasing images. It can of course be adapted to most mirrorless cameras as well.
I rarely review lenses and when I do they are “quick reviews”. I do so simply because when I buy a lens I only need to know three things.
- Is is the focal length and aperture for me? (Something that a youtube review can’t tell me.)
- Is the image quality to my liking? (Better of looking at Flickr for that.)
- Is there any major flaws to the build and function? (This is what I look for in youtube reviews.)
So I keep them short and sweet with only quick snaps. As you can see its sharp enough with a bit softer corners than the 50mm. And it has plenty of character.
